Angry Post office rant - No bullet camera tomorrow

Totally p*ssed off with them.

I ordered the cam as everyone knows and true to his word, David @ Fastfilms said it'd be delivered today.

As I knew nobody was going to be in today I left an A4 size notice in the window to leave with No 3 (2 doors down from me).

I went home at dinner time to find a notice card that they'd been. Have they left it with my neighbours? Have they f*ck!

I call them to ask why and just get a load of bullsh*t delivered in a "can't be ars*d" tone. Basically just hung up on them before I lost it.

So now I have to call them tomorrow on the off chance it may be back at the depot and get someone to go and get it. Its been a complete farse for the last 12 months, expensive orders just left on the door step, large letters forced through the letterbox making them basically unreadable, we even had the whole of the neighbours post delivered to our house!!

The postal system and attitudes within the emplyees are an absolute joke, they make the rules up as they go along. **The Seacroft Depot is Full of jobs-worths and eliterate pillocks.

So now there is a good chance I won't have the bullet camera for tomorrows track day, I can't tell you just how p*ssed off I am.

Ok Si sorry about that, I'll revise it as...

The Seacroft Depot is

Honestly though, it did just wind me up royally when I asked for it re-delivering and just got told "No" and then explained the equipment is actually needed for tomorrow and the tone of voice was just like "So what". I get told that if I want to make a complaint I can....on monday but the complaints dept shut at 1pm.

I'm just at the end of my tether with them up there, every week theres a problem.

Just off topic slightly - how much did you pay for your cam

I'm starting selling these complete with psu, bullet cam (obviously) a heavy duty suction mount in a nice carry case for about 90 quid.

Hopefully i'll be competative at that price

Aye, Stickster told me at the Christmas do.

Competative?! Thats a bloody bargain!!

Have a look on Fast Films website, I bought

ATC2000 bullet cam with built in solid state recorder.
Adaptor for cam
Suction mount
2Gb SD Card, think the whole lot inc vat, postage and discount was about £125.

I want another one or two so I'll be in touch very soon Chief

Rich it wasn't me sticking up for Royal Mail that I was drawing your attention too, it was the spelling of 'illiterate' as 'eliterate' whilst ranting about people being 'illiterate'

Made me chuckle. Since you were in the flow of a rant we'll let you off. If you went back and checked everything it would then have ceased to be a rant

btw the Royal Mail at Morley as just as much a bunch of ******** they once came without my parcel but just a card to say they tried to deliver it but couldn't. My girlfriend caught him shoving the card through the door having not knocked, his excuse for not bringing the post was that he assumed "we wouln't be in" A postman who doesn't bring any post - class.

Aaaaaahhhh I see, thanks for that

I just assumed I'd offended you. My spelling is usually good but it gets worse the madder I get. lol

And after today, I'm not suprised at all about the postman without the post, I'm sure thats happened to use as well.

Most companies will only deliver to the address the card/visa is registered to I think.

Many are starting to change their policy as the number of internet sales continues to rise....

Had wheels, tyres and parts all sent to work, even as first purchases, no problems.

Except with the Post Office....

Dunx

P.S. Hi SCG how's things...

Yes, I've noticed that as well, alot of companies now say that they will only deliver to the card holder address these days.

I had a feeling that was the case, as with alot of other places of business.

My problem is that the person I spoke to was British but I just got this whole "I really don't care" attitude. Its beyond a joke.
