Have not read the thread yet, does it seem to be a worthy ban, or just too many infractions from a clan

 

In all honesty Mick, I've spoken to Andy about it and what the definition of trolling is but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. He brings it on himself by trolling and then reacting by having a go at people who infract him for it.

Just needs to calm his temper down and stop trolling threads.

 

If I'm reading this right, his ban will expire on the 9th of this month..... and has resulted from people not taking his replies on the 'Mohammed' thread too well.

We've seen Andy be quite opinionated and we have warned him about the variable limits some people will take this. I even spoke to him at the EOM about it..

Trails to his credit said he didn't infract him and gave his opinion back, which is exactly how I think it should have been dealt with. IMO a ban was too harsh under the circumstances & context, but it is only a temporary one.

I still have mixed feelings about the infraction system, but I do feel it has had an overall positive effect of reducing the offensive posts. The trolling definition is always going to be a subjective call, but there is an appeals process (for which Andy fell foul of by getting more points from an upheld verdict).

We did discuss this at the EOM, but I think the recommendation is for Andy to get a Plus membership and get himself into Fight Club....
