Ladies Gentlemen and boys and girls
Its kind of a special day today, I know Birthdays are simply Birthdays, Just another day, but today I am 40.
My life’s Journey began 40 years today. I have shuffled, crawled, walked ridden, drove, and flown this fine earth.
Along the way I have had my up and downs, some real highs, whereby your tummy flips and your smile reaches your eyes. Alas some painful lows, whereby the world seems to fall away beneath you.
All brought back to life through memories, memories to cherish, memories to hope, to prey, one day soon to forget.
Along the way, I have been fortunate to love and be loved.
Along the way, I have had my fallouts, maybe made enemies, but equally, also made acquaintances.
Along the way, I have made friends, and good friends too, some closer than others but that’s just human nature I guess.
Along the way, I have made friends,
Friends that have helped me,
Friends to be there, and let me be there.
Friends that have filled my time,
Friends that have put up with me calling round,
Friends that have stood by my side.
Most importantly
Friends that have given me memories, memories that bring me to smile and often laugh.
