Hi am thinking of getting some GT SPEC headers as I have just over the 350bhp mark. or am I better of getting my old ones ported. Also will I need it mapping or not, can you tell a difference in power as I have heard that some people loose bhp when changing there headers
nice to see your looking at the headers must mean my car feels faster now
but i think you should leave them as they are
save ya money

By just replacing the headers you will only notice a small difference in spool up, and boost really need to tweek the mapping on the car, small porting can be controlled by the newage ecu's as they have the self learning function but are really limited as to the changes they can make themselves,
Depending on which ones you go for the ported ones can reduce spool up by a few hundred rpm and are good for around 370bhp ish give and good low down and midrange torque, the gt spec and other large bore headers will increase spool so a bit more lag but kick in harder and for longer, so you will see more power at high rpm,
depends on what you are wanting and how you drive in my view,
ask RLE on here as he has the ported ones with an 18g + other mods,
