As most of you know Myself and the club Have been on a down hill spiral of late with things going off here and there ..........





But not anymore It was good to see you old bones tonight had a top laugh it was great.

Same with the few new face's kicking about Hello and welcome please get stuck in , you'll enjoy it i promise you


If you've heard things of clicks and inner circles and are wondering what these are .... its simple start by calling me cocker and say how you doing.... Then get stuck in say hello have ideas for runs an for **** sake enjoy yourselfs it's what we are about, I mean look at simon B (the copper )

Stu tryed his best to keep up with JB on runs and he is a puff, simon's fast becoming a big and valuble member and A pleasure to be around .... welcome aboard mate


and you old bones please see this as a new leece of life in the club we may have shed some wait but **** me were far from done

Last but not least Mr Cook cheers for your hard work and support, Keep your head up, like I said were far from over and we are on the up. IT's been hard of late but I think im shining with hope and smiles that you lot will let out Those famous white pearl-ee's are coming out soon and your all invited

I do belive we had a turning point last night... a sort of re-affirmation as to the old WYIOC values of just enjoying the run. We've never been a stand club... just a social gathering that came up with some great times; and the spirit of the club came from those special moments when out with 2, 5 or 10 cars at 4am on a sunny or wintery morning...or those short drives to one of the meets.

After all the recent issues, I'm proud to say the spirit hasn't gone anywhere and it was very evident last night. More than one person likened it to the 'old leather pickers' meets we had at the Fenay Bridge all those years ago...

So, the club evolves again... it's evolved many times over the pat few years and it'll evolve again i'm sure in the coming years.... but what won't change will be the buzz a cracking A or B road run can give... either leading, or chasing the tail of a swiftly driven motor...

It won't take a rocket scientist to guess at what the main topic of conversation was about last night, but I felt it has now cleared the cobwebs and given us a 'spring clean' as one person put it...

To Phil, Dave and the other two cars that turned up last night (I told you I'd forget your names!! ).. welcome aboard..

Next run is Sunday morning.... enjoy people!!

Yeah it was a good night, the people are really friendly and have some nice cars. Thinking the guy with the kit car got home a bit wet. Looking forward to joining you on your outings. How can we pay the membership? Do we send a cheque?

 

Oooh... don't call it a kit car, he'll hunt you down and make you inhale his co2 emissions

Subs can be paid by cash or cheque at the next meet you attend (or Phil can bung me when he comes to pick the plates up later today )

Simon's the treasurer, so if you see him, (White Integra TypeR, usually found trying to keep up with the rest of us on runs ) then see Al for all yer stickers and other gubbins

Hi I dont know really them. Phils dad (Dave) knows them the lad with the red sports is called Roy. We didnt know they were coming Dave knows them from years ago cos he use to do Physio for there rugby team. They said they were coming next time thou.

Im Claire. I do most of the shows on my own as my other half is more into bikes. There are other girls about. Come and you can be with me, or the lads are really good. In all the clubs Ive been a member of this one has been the most friendly and treated me as an equal

Its true, cards on the table.... Ive been on the forums now for a good few years lol.... and well, most people dont 'understand' a girl into cars... and laugh even harder when I tell them I have a full bike licence so the women end up hating you and the men think you are fair game....

WYIOCS arnt like that The men and the women Ive met are cool

I moderate on 2 car forums... I edit car thread posts some men wouldnt be able to cope with

Ive worked in a motorbike shop and I have done a car mechanics course

Have to agree, had a great night last night, which reflected greatly in my good mood all day today Like JB, I'm glad to be a part of the WYIOC.
