anyone know any independent mechanics/technicians who will service subarus with genuine parts without the huge overheads and labour charges of a main dealer.

 

You can try Rick. He's been a Subaru technician for many years and worked at Bowetts and KT Greens and has also put together rally and track cars.

He's got a unit near York - I'll PM you his number. Put me ASTs on yesterday and some Pagid Blue pads. He can do all servicing too. I'd highly recommend him.

Seconded, they've helped me out no end but have also heard good stuff about Rick too. Would appear like we've some options.
