Cheers Daz for the drive around Blyton i can safely say that is the fastest i have been around their and by far the most fun expertly driven to avoid tyres as seen on video must say it was a lot closer in real-time once again big thanks.

Film of the year. I fully expect best actor and supporting actor to go to Dave & Daza at next years Oscars - surely nothing will top that. It was even better than 500 - an even manlier
By the way.....where on EARTH was Crafts going

Here's some images from the 1982 mintex...

Stick blomquist in the lead

Oh dear Paul "Toivonen" Crafts in second place appears to have a pole and horn sticking out of his roof, surely this has an effect on his performance...

And now a classic shot as toivonen crafts appears to have taken advantage of the Stick Blomquist car, possibly due to the microphone protruding from the bonnet...

And Mick I know it feels mad from behind the wheel but beleive me this was about as far as it was out of line each time... I think its to do with how the suspension is setup but it always feel much more sidways than it is, and then when it realy is sideways its like a knife edge of ballance... odd but true, if you drove it often though you do get used to it...

Superb Dazza
Really made mine and Jackie’s day that mate.
I was a little blue initially my first Blyton with nothing to drive, then Dazza pops up with the keys and an offer I simply could not refuse. However I did contemplate it, as it was a very big give
It really is an awesome driving experience; difficult to put in to words, however I will try.
I gently set off in first short shifted to second down the first small straight away then to third, ( I knew from my talks with Dazza that the car is capable in higher gears due to its weight so really did not feel the need, or have the lack of respect to over drive the car to get speed out of her)
When we hit the first straight I pressed the loud pedal in third and
waahoooooooooo weeeeeeeeeee foooooooooooooookmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee woooooooooooooohoooooohooooooooohooooooooooo
Then I changed into fourth pressed the loud pedal again
foooooooooooooooooooooooooo king helloooooooooooooooooooooooomoto wahooo hooo hooo super charger induction doing its best to pull my fecking lid off, while singing the sweetest note.
Gently braked for the chicane, wow this baby slows quick, I adjusted my goggles that miliseconds earlier had just tried to morph themselves into my face while Jackie was still clutching the helmet to stop it tearing her head clean off
Then into the hairpin, rails! corner! yep! like it was nailed down very reminiscent to a cart, sorry but all I can refer it to, then round the bottom section of twisties, a little bit more loud pedal and jeeee’sus Christ the gaps in-between bends really are not gaps at all, just a very short thinking periods before the next can I get round at this speed bend.
The car felt loose at times on one section under acceleration; however, it seems it was not, must of being the turd lodged in my boxers from the first straight making me slide.
Round the final hairpin at a steady pace, (you have to have respect guys, you know what I mean) Then the finish straight, steadily building my exit speed in third.
Waahooohooo fourth wahoohoo fifth brake brake brake.
Then 5 more laps building in confidence each and every time
Dazza huge huge thanks for the opportunity mate made my day somewhat special
