Default Advise Pls! Sti Intercooler on a 99 Classic???

Been thinking of purchasing a later STi 8 top mount intercooler for my 99 classic, been offered one for around a £100. Do you think this will make a noticable difference in performance? i.e has anyone done this mod to a classic or should i just spend the extra couple of £100 and go for a uprated hyperflow top mount or even a front mount?

A real Hyperflow at £300, trade discount (?) must be very good....

A friend put a cheap ebay cooler on his current shape WRX, and it made no power at all, Scoobyclinic said the std. cooler was as good. Doesn't help your classic problem tho'
