Just to let people know there is a 55 plate silver/grey unmarked cop car driving around Halifax, its a Vectra estate. Spotted it today when he parked ouside my work while some people where checking wagons for defects and red diesel. Usual signs no dealer stamp on plate and twin aireals. I tried taking note of number plate but he moved in front of it and was not happy at spotting me.

 

seems to be a few of these Vectras kicking about now.

Spotted a similar unmarked Silver Vectra in Morley the other day.. lights going and two tones..

Hey our taxes were paying for two traffic cars and one panda car to stand around for a couple of hours while the ministry guys did there stuff.

try living in Waky... plod capitolof england... there are more unmarked cars around here than anywhare... and soem very odd cars too, a quick trip upto AREA 41 reveals several Jag S types in subtle colours, green burgundy, 406 green metalic, numerous vectras, i saw a merc ML plain, a couple of 5 series one in black EEK! with popup STOP your nicked in the back... and a few other very off the wall motors in unusual colours for police cars...
Oh and forgot to add, watch out for a blue VW turan too...

Checked the figures on the Vectra is a 3.2 ltr turbo high top speed of 160mph but it aint that quick 0-60. Plus it wont help with all those road cones and doughnuts etc in the back.
