Twelve month service due very soon, any recommendations regarding dealers from the WYIOC re good dealers/bad dealers. Any useful info will be appreciated guys Could I use Scoobyclinic and keep my warranty intact

 

You can use anyone you like as long as they have the necessary skills, are VAT registered and use OE quality parts or better, and your warranty will be safe. Scoobyclinic are good, as are HDC Subaru in Hebdon Bridge. Richard Henry in Bradford is also well respected. The main dealer Bowetts in Leeds do a WYIOC discount and so far seem to be respected by those who've used them.

 

Dave.. I feel the need to have a FAQ sticky whereby we can have a reccomended dealer / mechanic listing covering The Clinic, The Racing Line, Bowetts as well as Tyre dealers, valets, cleaners, alloy refurbishers et al! As well as other helpful techncial info...

We can advertise the group buy oil and other helpful info.

If you fancy knocking something together.. I'll ask Sammy H to remove the club support sticky.. (now dead) and Sticky the WYIOC Area - Support Information FAQ thread.. I'll start this up as the user WYIOC so that we can change it as a group..

Dave you were right to mention Bowetts Leeds. Had the service done today for less than £130. Other dealers ranged from £170 to £225. They provided a taxi into Leeds centre so we could do a spot of shopping whilst the car was being done then also provided a taxi back The guy I dealt with was called Gary who gave me 10% off (WYIOC membership) I would highly recommend this dealership.
