Default WYIOC Go Camping 22nd/23rd July 2006

And I don't mean walking around mincing

We are planning an overnight camping trip to the east coast Saturday 22nd July.

The plan at the moment is to congregate at the Trading post for a 1pm departure on Sat 22nd.
We will all then make our way to the camp site at the Crows Nest near Filey, for an evening of the usual hootlarious shenanigans.

We are thinking this is going to be similar event to Glastonbury or creamfields meets the WYIOC bush tucker crew

On Sunday, when we have all recovered and put our canvas and survival gear away, we will make the short journey to the English Riviera, better known as Scarborough sea front, and take in some of their quintessential delights.

The next stage of the East coast raid will be an enthusiastically, however, legal blast up the lovely A171 to Whitby, where we can take in a meal and possibly get some nice photo's of the attending cars.

Finally, we will have a steady run home, taking in all the lovely country roads the east coast and wolds have to offer.

Official Attendance List

1. Paul C - Debs & young explorers. 4
2. Sticky - Ella & young explorers. 4
3. Mick - Jackie & young explorers. 4
4. D.Carter & family. 4
5. James young explorer & CAR 1

6.
7
8.

If the weather is going to be appalling Saturday 22nd the camping could be called off, we obviously want this to be a fun weekend for all, kids and grown ups alike

Trading Post is just off the A655 heading into Castleford from J.31 of the M62. Come off the mway and from the major junction roundabout head towards Whitwood and Castleford on the A655, go straight over the 1st small roundabout and immediately take the outside lane for the 50yd stretch to the traffic lights. Turn right into Pioneer Way and then 1st left and left into the car park.

HTH

PS. CB excuse no.1 applies as usual to this event Have a fun time.
