1st Official WYIOC Tour of Prodrive - Wednesday 12th July @ 5pm
After much deliberation by Al and myself, the limited places on the 1st WYIOC tour of Prodrive will be attended by the following. The decisions were hard, and we regret that some members have not been invited but the line had to be drawn somewhere. We tried to identify those members whom have contributed well over a period of time, as well as include some newer members whom have shown great commitment to the club even after a short time.
If any other members would like to visit Prodrive then there is an Open Day on July 29-30. It is easier to get to as it is over a weekend, and is cheaper at £10.
Would those on the list who have not yet got their £20 to me, please try and do so ASAP ?
1. David (Corradoboy)
2. Helen (Corradogirl)
3. Al (Alan C)
4. Shaun ^^
5. Martin (STi300)
6. Dazza (Dazzas STi) 50/50 ???
7. AVAILABLE
8. AVAILABLE
9. Simon (whitescooby)
10. Rafael Chandler
11. Barry (bgood) PAID
12. AVAILABLE
13. Andy (Apple) PAID
14. Mark (MPT) PAID
15. AVAILABLE

Getting there.....with 15 of us I think it would be best to take 4 cars and each person contribute £10 for fuel to the driver. With a 320 mile round trip this will be a full tank in any new-age UK Scoob keeping to 70mph. I'd suggest going down the M1 to J.15A then following the A43 to Brackley, then onto the A422 to J11 of the M40 where we can follow the above directions. This will keep us on motorway and dual carriageways for the majority of the trip. I would also suggest we meet up at The Holmfield for a departure at 2pm, as I feel it would be better to be within a few miles with time to kill having a bite to eat and a pint than be 50 miles away and stuck in a traffic jam at 5.01pm.
May I respectfully request that this thread be used only for the discussion and organisation of the relevant event. Thankyou.

Yes you remember correctly I did pay you on Thurs night, which makes it all the more confusing why there isn't the word PAID next to my name
Right then, which poor, errr I mean lucky, individual wants to give me a lift?
[sits back and relaxes to watch the ensuing bunfight for the great privilege of his company]

Dazza still unsure, awaiting confirmation from Dave Carter & Matt, as well as Kev.
On the day Raf will be calling by mine, then on to collect Barry and I would think the big meet-up will be at the Holmfield ready for heading south on the M1.

I believe I am driving down and taking Dave and Helen and then picking up Barry.
Martin is also coming now, but was hoping he could leave his car at yours Alan where it would be safe, as he is meeting us straight from work?
So who else is driving down?

Sorry you can't make it James. As I paid the charity donation out of my own pocket a while ago then I must insist on reimbursement. I have however informed Al that the other places should come out of the club coffers if they remain unfilled so you could argue that yours should too. Haven't had any interest from SNet General let alone the disappointing events with the WYIOC members
We better hold off buying that new BBQ the way this is going.

All. As we have a few places unattended for the trip can I ask for a retrawl of names please.
I'm aware of the feeling and issues around the organisation but I'd like to move on. As Dave has put the money up front, then the club will have to pay for the shortfall.
Mick & JB have have graciously agreed to pay their share even though they are not coming, but the open slots mean that the club will be £40 out of pocket.
If you have a spare afternoon and evening then, differences aside, filling those two spaces will be of great help.
I'd be happy to receive a PM if you need clarification or wish to talk over the placement...
Cheers.

Raf is picking me up and then calling for Barry, but my Dad may be filling one of the vacant slots so if you could collect Barry it might be better. If not we can all swap around at The Holmfield. Al can fit a couple of cars in front of his place (I hope he and Katrina don't mind
) rather than leave them at the pub. Anyone else need Simon to collect them
