I'd posted on RLE's Thread, but decided to start a fresh one...
Here's what I posted on that thread...

OK. Ladies and Gents. Time to start getting our sh.. stuff together..

It would be Nice to have a few extra things going on this year... Last year we had the Gayzeebo, flag and Steve's Noble (which had lots of attention). If Dazza get's delivery of his toy, then we'll have something as exciting to centre stage the stand...

All we need is some people to step forward with some good ideas and some effort to make things happen. Don't be shy, we'll be happy to take any idea as long as we do something different and club related... Don't let the fact you may be new to the club stop you coming forward... You should know by now that even on day one, you're as welcome as the people coming for years..

Club will provide drinks and quite possibly some BBQ food (Dave, we need to chat...)
Decent BBQ (not like last years attempt where 4 adults spent the best part of an Hour and the local copse, attempting to make Fire...

How about some www.wyioc.co.uk stickers to dish out to prospective new members (and the existing ones, come to think of it)? Nothing too big, either cut vinyl, like the SMACS ones, or as a window sticker, something along the same line as dealer stickers, possible a little smaller.

 

Does Mark have to hold the flag all day? Seems a bit harsh

Couple of suggestions / ideas...

Does anyone have a small generator to power a Video / TV / Laptop?

Also, could everyone bring along Their Top Gear / Clarkson / Other Car vids to play throught out the day????

I have a portable Gas BBQ for the day, if someone/club can provide a gas bottle for it? And if this can be done, I'll bring it along to the track day too

 

Simon. I'll speak to Chris and see if we can get the club to buy a bottle...

As mentioned on the trackday thread, I have an empty gas bottle which I will get exchanged for a full one this week. I don't mind knocking up some quality home-made burgers, and some of my speciality Aldi Bratwursts. Maybe some cheaper ones to dole out to all and sundry to welcome them to our stand.
Whoever has the fastest net connection could D/L pretty much every episode of TG from www.finalgear.com and burn them to a DVD. I have a 30 minute "Best of" kicking around from series 1. I would stick them all on my lappy, but with a 9.8g HD and only 2.4g left, I won't fit many 380mb episodes on See, my Mac does have some limitations If it's bright and sunny though I can't see anyone wanting to squint at a tiny laptop screen, and where would we plug in Sticky's plasma (just saw the comments about the genny, but left the option in to provoke a response).
Chris could maybe chat with Simon about the Lambo, but he hasn't been since his first appearance If he agrees to come maybe he could bring his Conti GT too Ian's car needs to be there with it's bonnet up, and if Martin is coming his is the 1st Hawkeye. Mick's maybe could represent the classic era.

 

I have a fair few Clarkson DVD'S so will bring them along. Put my name down Alan. Cheers
