**cough** I take it they didn't spot a little geezer with a wheel brace, some house bricks and the tyres that were originally on there in the boot of a Subaru???

 

the ones on the car we went in had trick tires on it, thing is now with the current crop of semi track tires you really can't tell, some of the road legal tires have less actual tread pattern than race tires...!

Infact Tom (Atom man)set off steady in second from a junction on the test and it just picked up and pinned me to the seat...! like Wooaaaarrrrr

In fact ishould have set off in second when i first set off from the junction when driving... first is VERY lively! its difficult to modulate the throttle as 5mm of imput results in an instant 50m on the road...! I bet Sticky was able to tell this as he could see the pedals from the passenger seat

Anyway was reading a thread between you and someone called Alan C, and he talked about a T20, whats a T20, I'm just about to buy a version 8/9 whatever the hell number there upto now with ppp, I dont wanna jump into buying something then wishing i'd bought something quicker

Oohhh yes...! mad times too... 0-100 6.8 0-60 was .2 of a second quicker than the GSXR1000 . 0-100 was 1.2 slower than the 1000 though... that's party becouse the bike does 90+ in first! Having riden severial big bike I'd be well happy getting to the ton 1 second behind a Ex racer on a 1000 an average bike ride will get nowhere near those launch times... believe me it takes some doing! Also the car actualy did the time from a second gear start! how mad is that! The guy at Atom set off in second too, i used first and it was a little too scary! but nice!
