Default Impromptu Meet

Due to problems with DVLA getting my registration done, it appears the car will not be ready for Wednesday (1st) night So, it looks like Thursday (2nd) will be the day (if they get it done by Wednesday). I KNEW something would go wrong..

If SteveChaps cannot make Thurday then I'm sure we can still meet up on Wednesday to have a gander at Emma..

Is everyone OK with moving it Thursday?

where is the holmfield arms? (will have to try to find out personally to be able to detect the dodgy directions to sent me on a wild goose chase )

First thing is I apologise for dicking you about.. The car will now be delivered Friday morning.. Iain's lovely assistant Tim will be driving up at silly O'clock to deliver it about 9:30am ish.. to the Holmfield..

The reason?

As is my luck, my car was chosen from a cast of 10.. to be pulled by the DVLA for a random check of chassis / engine / VIN checks to ensure that Litchfields are not doing something naughty. This means the car has to be driven to the centre and inspected before the tax disk is handed over..

Now, Iain is obviously in that sort of game, and whilst commendable that such Governmental checks are made....... WHY MINE!!!!!!

As you can see I'm still smiling... Just.

At least it's coming.. which is good.. Morning means that I can get to work..which is also good, but it does throw a spanner in the works as far as meeting up is concerned..

So, how about Friday Evening at the Holmfield? Say 7:30? I'd fully understand if you disowned me and cast me forth into the cold night.. But seeing that I'm such a charming and luvelly Brummie.. you'll forgive me...... wont ya!!

1. You keep telling us you're not a Brummie. "Oi'me from the Block Countroy me..."

2. Bugger! Probably not available Friday eve anyway. Thurs was ideal.

3. The DVLA has recently introduced a policy of trying to reduce the incidence of Brummie-related translation issues when stopped by the police for driving flash new cars.... Yours was caught in the net....

PS. No worries mate - let's see what the majority decides.....

Wait for tomorrow, when he says it's going to be Saturday, as nobody mentioned the fact the DVLA do a crash test on said vehicle
