Just to remind everyone, we have a stand booked for this year.. On it will be a few club cars and we'll have a Gayzebo..( ) emblazoned with a WYIOC banner... So when you turn up.. you'll have a place to head for.. hopefully a 3m Flag pole and flag will be there too, so you'll be able to see us from anywhere on the field..
We'll most likely be having as BBQ (so bring some burgers etc if you wish to use it..), We'll purchase some drinks for the kids etc... and the Yearbook may be making an entrance
There'll be 500 flyers to hand out to anyone who's vaguely interested..
Wanted for the day.. Picnic type table for the tent..
I have a dodgy tressle table, but it wont be in keeping with the WR Blue(ish) Gayzebo

Cars on the stand.. Yes. M'lud..
OK.. As part of the NBO stand we need to display between 3 & 5 club cars..
I would like to state that ALL cars will be considered. That's Rhombs, Pleiades, Nobles, Prancing Horses & Stuttgart Logos..
However, I have to clear it with Lord harding, that non-Scoobs will be accepted.. I hope so, because we are 'More than a Subaru Club' (Sticky.. Nice tag line for you?)
So, which 5 will it be? What 5 cars will best represent the club? This is going to be a difficult choice.. do we go for something out of the ordinary that will stand out? Or do we keep it standard and laid back..?
In keeping with the club's heart, then the other Marques MUST be represented.. Unfortunately, Ian is not going to the NBO and he wouldn't toss me the keys top the CS. So unfortunately, arguably the best car on the planet, stays in its garage..
What next? This will be a club vote.. So I'm asking for choices, comments, Ideas and show of hands..
My call is this.. We go for out of the ordinary.. something no other stand will have
1. Steve Chaps' (Not mentioned as I'm not sure how much a secret this still is?).
2. T'EVO.. (Sticky or Phil.. though the yellow will stand out..)
3. T20 (This is a tough call as it's mine, plus I haven't seen it in the flesh yet!! But it fills the criteria of being different i.e Litchfield JDM..)
4. Mark's UK300
5. Dazza or Ella's Stickered STI..
Reserve in case Steve and/or Evos aren't allowed
Martin's Black STI TSL etc..
Gary's UK MY00
Every other car in the club should be there, as each one is special and a credit to its owner, but we are only allowed 5. So the list isn't meant to sleight anyone.. just a view of what the 500+ visitors will take away with them after visitng the stand..
Comments..?

Craig, sure. Get yourselves along.
I'm not 100% on the meeting point yet, but I believe it's going to be at Dave's workplace car park, as per last year.
Dave, (or anyone who has a clue) can you confirm?
It would be wise to put your names down on the official NBO thread, as they need to know the numbers turning up in order to organise parking as easily as poss.

Stand wise, I'd go with pretty much what Al's suggested, though I'd offer consideration to Dave's, as it does polish up rather well
Plus I'd personally like to see a classic on there.
If Phil's t'Evo's available then the yellow peril can stay at home, which would mean that we'd be going in Ella's, so that'd be available if needed.

Is it Dave's that starts the reg with T1 ...? If it is, I saw it yesterday and it looks immaculate
I'll rule mine out of the stand as it's virtually boggo apart from flaps and maybe PPP if the planets align

Dave's as in CB's
Always very shiny, not sure of the reg, isn't it a 51 or thereabouts?
I forgot that I'd promised a loan of t'Evo to Adam's dad, apparently there's some Jap car show on in Pickering over the same weekend and it's going on a stand there, so it looks like Phil's will be the one for WYIOC. Phil, d'you want an A3 printout of your power graph to stick on yer window (That should slow him down a bit lads )
What we doing BBQ wise? A couple (or four!!!) disposable ones? I've go a nice big gas one, but it'd need a van to get it there Would have thought that disposables would do fine, they've served us weel at the trackdays before. Shall I sort? Or does Dave have contacts?

T1 Not me ! YS
51 Not me ! 52
No need for mine to be on the stand as it's a bit like me, pretty boring and not even pretty I agree with Dazza's as I think it's up there with Steve's (ex ) as some of Sticky's finest work. A classic needs to be there, so if Daz will bring Al's ex maybe Steve's new Ford should be there along with Phil's Evo maybe to show that if not in name, then in essence we are more than a Scooby club.
The BBQ's I usually get from Makro in a pack of 3. If anyone wants to bring a proper one and some coals then it will save me the bother, but I don't mind. Only problem being the need of something to sit them on. At Rallydrive we usually steal a passing oil drum, but I doubt there's many of those in Lightwater When we sat one on something wooden (an old door IIRC) it ended up on fire with a big hole in it I'll have a look at mine and see how easily the legs come off. Will need a bloody good jetwash before use though

Apologies Dave, I'm ageing your motah prematurely.
Dazza's sticky stuff isn't looking too cracking TBH (though I know of one identical that is )
As for something to stand the BBQ on, I thought that's what top-mount t'intercooters were for
...failing that I have a slightly damaged 18" alloy that would possibly be up to the job
Al, why would we need a table? Is that not what that great bleeding wadge of CF on your boot's for?

I have a Smokey Joe Mini Weber BBQ.. Should do the job.... I also have a bag of coals and lighter stuf.. Leave that bit to me then.. Unless someone can take a mini gas one as we'll have trouble with the coals..
Table? Aye, we do.. To put food and drink on..
