Angry NOT HAVING MUCH LUCK WITH MY NEW BUGEYE

Got to work thsi morning and saw I was steaming like hell, opened the bonnet to find water/antifreeze sprayed all over the place inc over the battery?! Cant see any leaks while its started up but can hear a whistle from drivers side! It pretty much emptied the water bottle in a 5 mile journey!? Fitted the standard recirculating valve last night in place of the blitz dv...this shouldnt be related though..should it? could it?!

It was the top rad hose! It had rubbed through and finally split! Got a Brand new genuine Subaru hose for £35 from central subaru today. Thank god it wasnt the rad itself! =)

I had that at Brands Hatch, rubbed on the fan? If that's the case think about engine mounts as its the excessive movement hat causes the rubbing.

Ok i will have a look into that then, iv noticed the new hose is nowhere near the fan like the old one? I thought maybe subaru changed the hose slightly if it was a common problem? it now looks pretty close to the fan belt pully though??
