dont dump valves defeat the purpose of maintaining charge in your intercooler? Surely keeping that boost pressure is better?... the noise be damned.

Some people just won`t be told mate even if it does defeat the object...they just want the crappy noise. As said above though, each to their own

I have heard the same thing said by a very Competant scoob engine tuner. But yes I just love the noise and believe if you are going to have one it might aswell be a loud one.
Personally on dual carraigeways etc I love changing gear right beside someone who is probably only half paying attention because mine scared the poop out of me first time I drove it.
As said everyone to their own. Mind you mine isn`t a daily driver if it was it would actually do my head in.
I know I know small things please tiny minds bring on the banter.
I`ll start with

Chavtastic

hey dude as you say - each to his own, I got no problem with dump valves if noise is what you want, i only think many assume they are performance enhancers, which they are definitely not.

Agreed

Mind you combined with a big bore backbox I`ve heard rumours of upto 30hp gained add in a decat, air filter and no remap 50 brake

I prefer a crow bar for that really backyard jagged look, I think it improves the aerodynamics of the car and thus contributes to horsepower

I can`t understand why bother buying and fitting lowering springs when this guy has such an easy answer ( worth a read not the best ad i`ve seen but still quite amusing )
