Think you'll find that is a classic top mount but from a later model, not sure on fitting sorry.

just for peoples who are considering this its a version 3/4 sti tmic going on to a version1/2 car this will not fit in the space like on a v3/4 the throttle body is just to long on a v 1/2 car you could change to a v3/4 throttle body and make a mounting bracket or to do it correctly fit a full v3/4 inlet

the inlet which will bolt on to the v1/2 heads this not only gives you the correct room for the tmic also the correct mounting points but also the correct angle for that much needed bonnet under tray to direct the air we wouldnt advise any 1 fitting 1 with the orignal v1/2 inlet as the angles are all wrong as is the spacing to get the much needed air to them just a heads up

I managed to got hold off a really good TMIC from a v4 sti with all new pipe work and wanted this on my wrx sti import v2 as you all might not know this is not a easy swap DOING IT RIGHT any ways Long story short........... after a V4/5 inlet a v4 water carrier thats the pipe that seats under the intercooler a v4 accelorator cable load off other parts i lost count lol the guys wanted this mod to look MINT

Now the car runs MInt hitting around 1.2 bar every time feels so different loads better im a very happy chappy ......

Not seen a strut brace that way before, you've changed your filter as well.

cheers for the kind words this is a far bit of a conversion to get the v3/4 cooler on correctly but it worked a treat using a v3/4 inlet v3/4 water cross pipe a v5/6 throttle postion sensor and throttle cabel it all bolts on and really can tell the difference were glad your happy its a well worth mod for thoses who dont want to go fro te fmic and there not really many options out there for the v1/2 cars as for the turbo iuts the next step

mark this strut looks odd but is the correct brace for the v1/2 cars as there is no room at the back of the slanty tmic they have to run at the front all works the same but straight the better really
