I use Carling, I find I perform much better on that after a gallon or so. My car will run on v-power because the engine will be mapped to that.

V-Power and methanol mix. Why? Because despite being a pain in the **** to fill up, and plan long journeys, it's cheaper, and gives me more power.

I use Momentum on my Classic Import, when I cant get Momentum I use V-Power.

I find on v-power it does less mpg, and doesn`t run as well as when Momentum goes back in normal service is resumed.

Mapped for V- power, and V-power with 20% Meth.
Have only used The Meth mix , and have been told I am able to use Tesco 99.

I have only used Vpower and will always try too.

Cheers Guys you've all answered my question with the answer i was looking for.

I was doing a map session on my mates car after he said its ok some times and other times holding back, after plugging in to the ecu, I noticed it was pulling timing in areas within the map that were perfect before, I’d mapped it previously on V-power, but he’d put tescos 99 in it when he had to.

My point is, if you get the car mapped to what you intend to use and you cant get it, don’t be wragging the car until you do IMO.

Do you mix in containers before hand so quantity is spot on or do you mix at the pump and hope for the best lol? I really cant make my mind up whether to use a mix or not.

See what my gauge is reading, take a stab at what will go in as a total.
fill up my Meth can go to the garage forcourt fill up the tank with th meth.

Go to the pump and topup withh the required amount of V-Power.

I find that a easy way of getting the mixture as close as I can.

I use a 10 lit Jerry can which is strapped in place in the boot for long journeys.
which I normaly have about 5-6 Lits of Meth to top up with.

Hope this helps.

If it's the same why do you use v-power at all then.

if you travel at say 80mph for 30mile you will do more to the gallon/but round town stop start would be the same as unleaded. you get a bigger bang for ya money wiyh vpower motorway driving is the only time you will save money with vpower

v-power and/or meth burn cooler therefore giving you more scope to run closer to detonation so surely if you put your foot down round town using sub standard fuel its more likely to det as the engine will suffer heat soak from not moving fast enough to get air flow to the engine.

I use either a 5 or 10 litre jerry can. Measure it out so there's exactly whatever volume I need in there, then go to the petrol station, pour it in, and then whack the V-Power on top of it so it mixes.
