Nice day tomorrow, anyone fancy a drive?
Ive posted this in the general section of SN, just to see if anyone fancies a day out. I know its short notice and probably for most of you might be a bit too far since a lot are down in the brum area BUT:
Its going to be a hot day tomorrow, perfect for getting out and about.
If anyone fancies it, will be great, i think some other scoobs from other clubs might tag along. Get some good photos, enjoy a nice drive and theres....wait for it........ Tunnels
Im going from Rhayader to colwyn along the A470, via Snowdonia National Park (amazing photoshoot opportunity). Let me know if you want to come. Im leaving telford about 9:30am. Hitting Snowdonia about 11:30ish
Ive planned a route:
I will make my way to Rhayadero or maybe straight to dollgellau from Telford, prob leave 9:30am tomorrow and pick anyone up along the way. Its a 2 hour trek for me to Dolgellau. Going to stop off at Snowdonia, get some nice pics then head off through a few tunnels up towards colwyn bay, finally stopping at colwyn bay for a break.

Got back a little while ago, got some great vids and this trip is DEFINITELY worth a WMI visit. Even on my own, I made a hell of a racket going through Snowdonia town and through the North Wales mountains. Was Excellent.
Ive got some vids which I'll link here of the Conwy Tunnel: Its about a mile and a half long, a nice long tunnel and not much traffic. Then going back through the tunnel to go to Rhos-On-Sea by Colwyn Bay for an ice cream with the missus and kids. All in all, Ive used 30 miles short of a full tank, total round trip was 250 miles.
If WMI went, my god, we would be bringing DOWN the mountains! lol

Ive spent a kin fortune on it. Havent regretted none of it. smiles for miles.
