De-tango & Paint.
Hi all,
I'm wanting to do the above to my blobeye lights. Can anyone point me in the right direction on a how-to for it?
Also I don't have access to any tools so if possible could you list the ones needed as I'll have to pop to halfrauds to get them.
Thanks in advance.

i used this guide http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=384488
there are a couple of methods. i opted for taking the grill off and taking the bolt out which you can get to once the grill is off.
when you get to the point where you have to pop the lights out you will have to put a lot of force behind it. i took the fog light covers off and put my hand up and behind the light. i put a tea towel between the light and bumper so i didn't accidentally scratch it which is easily done.
whilst the first time you pop the lights out is rather difficult any further times will be much easier. i think the clip holding them in must weaken after the first time.

I want to do this to mine but dont have a heat gun and I can burn water so not allowed near the oven. I am ace at taking the lights out though having replaced bulbs on both my newages so I can do something right!
We should hold a WMI workshop for this. Club together the people who want to do it and those that have the tools/experience all in the name of club camaraderie and of course pay a fee for charity. Plus it's an excuse to have a mini meet and a few brews/bevvies.
Any takers?
