Used this as my daily driver for a couple of years then parked her up, been on my drive now for the last 2 years covered up. Charged the battery and started first time, 50,000 miles with full history and i mean full!!! 1 old bloke owned it before me and was box standard which it still is apart from the 100mm drop and alloys, Anyway Long overdue for an MOT so were taking it next week fingers crossed!!! Then a new home with my nephew, his first car but hes more nuts about old fords than me so i know it will be well looked after, very sad to see it go

thanks lads, its near mint couple of little bits but i think that ads to the originality as its never been touched, garaged all of its life till i got it and ive always had it covered. Back seats had never been sat in!!!! you cant find many like this anymore
I can vouch for it's condition, Paul only lives a few doors down, and when i moved into my house about 18 months ago i never knew what it was, always covered up, it fires up in a split second!! Minter!!!
i had a b reg mk 3 xr3i for my first car and have wanted another one ever since
i also had a b reg xr3i in red when i was 19 it was mint, i remember paying £1500 insurance 3rd party only but it was worth it!! That was until one day my brother asked to borrow it to take a new girl out he had just met (i think his nissan cherry did nothing for his image) i remember him walking in and saying your cars broken down so we used his cherry to tow it back, on further investigation a valve had snapped and wedged itself in a piston a right mess, we got it sorted but never felt the same again. i cant remember how many old fords ive had but lets just say i have had one or two!!!!
It was at a dodgy garage and let's just say the guy wasn't bothered that we sent the log book off in Donald ducks name! (naughty little youth I was) lol
that looks mint im big into fords and the mk3 here's my summer car so will be out the storage in the next month
always wanted one of these, my budget could never afford a decent one though.
MOT results needs a new back box which i have sorted and a small hole in the floor about the size of a 5 pence piece which has gutted me it will be its first plate!!! not bad though for nearly 30 years old and been covered for 2years.

Hallgreen and you probly havnt seen it because i dont use it in the winter its just for shows. And my oldman gave it me 11 years ago for my 21st used to be his so its something that is just more then a car
