Can anyone recommened a place to recondition the rear diff on my friends 2001 sti version 6.

Or if anyone knows of 1 for sale/or a v6 sti breaking would be ideal!

 

I wouldn't bother getting one reconditioned. Try grade a subaru for a used one but you'll need to know the ratio of it first. I do have a 3.545 for a newage sti but they are chunkier than the classic ones plus the ratio is probably different.

 

If you do decide to recon, my friend specialises in gearbox's so would be happy to help you out but its not cheap!!
