Default exhaust

Thinkin about a new exhaust for blobeye wrx and wondered what people can recommend ?

Also i have read it is worth getting a decat up pipe because if the cat breaks down it could damage the turbo so if this is changed would it need a remmap thanks

Picking an exhaust is a bit like picking wheels,,,,, what are you looking for? quiet, loud, angled exit, straight etc etc. I agree with Dean that you will need a re-map and I would suggest you change the standard paper air filter in the air box for a better make, itg pipercross k&n..(the modify-bug has bitten)

If you cant afford the downpipe de-cat along with a remap you can get away with just the two centre sections and backbox, it would unleash the burble and not cost you the earth

as above it comes down to what style/sound you want really.........

only a full decat will need a remap.................

i have the h & s afterburner vortex system on mine and sounds great loud but no that loud tbh you need to come to a meet and take a peek at all on view so you get the real sound not the sound of a video clip only then can you make a decision on sound now mine is loud enough but the blitz kills mine i had a classic with a blitz parked next to mine in the last meet and i couldnt hear mine running

I have a Miltek sport with a sportcat. It sounds nice but not loud. I had the full system turbo back and a K&N pannel filter. Had mine remapped and took me to 323 on an 04 STI. Got mine from Powerstation .
