To be honest i would take the induction kit off and put the original air box back on . Until you are really ready to do further mods . The management system has detected the extra air flow and thus throws up the warning errors . To get it remapped after an induction kit would be a waste of money . You'd really need other breathing mods to compliment it (upgraded exhaust) . Then perhaps a remap to complete the job .

be carefull you have not killed/killing your maf !!! Most impreza's handle small changes like exhausts air filters due to the ecu's abillity to learn (although it is always recommended to re-tune/map any changes to protect/prolong engine) if your car ecu did not like the filter from the moment it was fitted could be an underlining prob worth sorting!!! also as said unless having too (running fmic and or big power) a panel filter upgrade would be a better option

probably throwing lean cel code as the induction effects the air flowing through the maf and therefore the maf voltage the ecu sees which is what it uses to sort fuel and ignition advance, as has been said return to standard air filter until ready for remap etc.

what induction kit was it, you'll not get anything noticable, and you running the risk of heat soak, if you just looking for the sound, buy a panel filter and de-snorkle, not as noisey but more forgiving.
