Why do old school Dubs/beemers look so fookin cool. Iv'e had some real trick old school rides, with real sleeper power (mk1 caddy pick up, 1/4 mile 10.4) but a constant battle to keep real. Whereas my P1 is about as trick as a scoob gets (in my opinion
) and has fantastic everyday, all situations mods. So why do i keep gettin drawn back to the old school heartache, of slammed deutch motors on 3 piece rs rims. Jeez now i know how Darth Vader felt. The guy at the top of my road has a mk2 rallye, slammed on type 2 borbs and it looks the absolout bollocks, shiny/low and fat.

Thats it mate, my caddy lived in my garage and in the winter i would go in everyday just to look at it. And could'nt wait for a sunny day to take it out. The P1, just does'nt do the same thing for me. Its a wicked bit of kit, slammed, stretched tyres, de-badged, etc, etc... and looks real fat, but just does'nt do it.
Thats why I have a preface Scoob. Best of both worlds, old school looks and goes like fudge (will do when I fit my new engine).
Think new cars cos they have to adhere to EU regs all look the same, and perform similarly. Where old cars have character, even old Skodas have their good points.

HI Mate i have a bmw e30 325i sports m tech 2 in schwarz black slammed with kw suspension alpinas strut braces full leather etc have owned it for 12 years and shes mint every bush and bearing has been replaced has only covered 1000 miles in past 5 years she sits in the garage but comes out for about a hour a month for a polish and a ten mile cruise. cars like these nowadays turn heads more than e46 m3s etc . looks even nicer since i put a full front bonnet bra on her ,would like a e36 3.2 evo engine conversion to make her complete ,maybe oneday
i love the old bmw's i think they just look evil slammed on some nice alpina rims especially the shark nose ones and i wouldnt mind a 2002 will have to win the lottery to get a turbo one though you could almost buy a brand new m3 for the price of a 70's 2002, old cars do have alot of character and definately stand out i had a 1953 for pop sit up and beg with a 2 ltr pinto in it and the amount of older people that used to come up to me and praise it and say they learnt to drive in one and were glad to see it on the road, it was cool
