Default White Focus RS M62 Oldham - Nice Try

was fun for a short while when you thought you could show up my old classic, don't usually bother unless it's a faster car like a porsche.

shame you ended up with egg on your face might look old but it is'nt slow.

far to easy.

i was quite surprised actually thought the rs was supposed to be fast and i was only running my low boost setting

mind you my car probably cost the same as yours adding up all the money i've spent.

better luck next time, although does look nice in white if you find your way on here.

"Doing" 300bhp fwd car is nothing to brag about these days.

Say the same about a 450+ Porsche then you may get some kudos

i've had a couple of blasts with porsche's as well they make great competition but as i said i'm not in any kind of habbit doing so.

most memorable car for me was on the m6 with a guy in a audi r8 his face was priceless.

paulwrxboro if he was running it in then he has more money than sense, shame it was dark would have loved to seen his face.

300bhp cars are easy i agree but it's the shear arrogance of the drivers like the rs one who think their shiny new car owns the road and my old classic is just in the way. i just love to surprise them.

+ what exactly? i think the point is people that have something they consider a "monster" because it is the latest thing on the market get shown up by the miniscule stealth car, end of the day the silly RS driver should not of tried showing off! looks a bit of a t**t now. well done phil.

how do we know the RS owner thinks its a "monster" ?
anybody that knows cars knows should know you can get a subaru to beat anything if you throw enough money at it
why has he come on here when he beat a RS but says nothing when he beats an R8 or 911

by the way i got beat by a k reg cavalier, did i cry ? no i laughed and give him a thumbs up

That tin foil must have given Phil the weight advantage when he wiped his @rse with the RS.

i'm always on here paul .

as for the driver thinking it's a monster what would you call driving right up my **** with your lights on full when their are two clear lanes in which you can overtake on a motorway ?

if i'd have touched my ultra sharp brembo's his shiny car would have looked a wee bit different to when he got in it but i would'nt want to damage my 20k build (although i have no idea where that figure came from).

seen the rs in the tesco's car park a couple of times when i've been shopping and wondered if by chance they frequented this site as i wanted to tell the driver when you act such an arrogant dick thinking you own the road don't be surprised when someone spanks your ****

yeah i was thinking about 400 ish i think you would only need about 300bhp to beat the RS, its a big heavy thing

its a great car but not a porsche/R8/scooby eater

An impreza isnt all that light tho lets be honest, its not a small car, and with the 4wd system it as got quite a bit of weight in it s hardly a tin can. Yep prob lighter than the rs but when i hear the words as light as a tin can i think of little 205 gti's that have mi16 engines in and novas with calibra turbo lumps in, these are tin can cars that people are shocked by.
Paulwrxboro- can see from your posts that you have been on here a while and know that some imprezas out there have good specs and do go well but i bet there is alot of owners of the rs out there that just see the price you can get a impreza for now and think they will eat an impreza no problem. I think ive had 2 of these owners try it now and each time they have been very dissapointed. Both great cars tho imo and wont be long i bet before there are lots of the new rs haveing thousands thrown at it to get silly bhp .

my intention was not to upset any rs drivers on here just one in particular

anybody who knows me nows i'm not like that would have posted exactly the same if it was a mini turbo thingy or a corsa.

i'm lucky car is mapped well and the turbo once on boost will hold all the way to the red line without dropping i don't think overall bhp has all that much to do with it as in my low boost which is only running 1.1 bar rather than my other setting which is 1.8 (although that said that must be well into the 300's).

as above i don't think my car is that light not only is it awd but it's also running a uk 6 speed box.

as for porshe's and rs8's come and have a go if you think your hard enough

yeah your right tin can is more 205 /reno 5 teratory, what i ment was it must be a lot lighter than an RS im not sure what a classic weighs of the top of my head 1250kg? but the RS is a heavy car 1474kg

you havent upset me at all, its a forum and this is banter
when i get my light weight wheel nuts this week i will go hunt some scoobys
