DBM A64 near Leeds stopped by Police

I was travelling south bound on the A64 and saw flashing lights so adjusted my speed.. came around a bend and there was in a layby a Police Volvo with lights on and another car and then a DGM MY00 (I think) in a layby. The Policeman was getting out of the drivers seat of the Scooby as I went past???
Hoping someone stopped for a spot check..
Hoping it wasn't another stolen Scooby? unless the scum was caught in the act of course.
