100's at Japfest
Nice to see another great turn out. A great day and I can't believe the weather held off! Hope none of you got stopped on the way out by our local constabulary. Those of you who were in the club displays really made an effort and all those I spoke to were very friendly. Had to feel sorry for the Evo owner who had the dramatic off, then the unlucky owner who's Pulsar caught fire while waiting to carry on

Hi Jay, I kept an eye out for you. I saw you on track but not near your stand. I'll post some pics of my scoob with the wheels on tomorrow, now I've sorted my nut problem out! I'll keep an eye out for you next time.
I bet you had a nice drive up from sunny Bournemouth

Hi Richy B, know what you mean. At 9.30 I thought it was going to be a complete wash out. However, in typical 'Combe' style it soon blew away and was kind of alright in the end. Still a little dampness always makes for an interesting track experience!

Whilst enjoying a nice day out at castlecoombe like you all on saturday. My 2dr classic WRX STI was broken into whilst parked in tower car park. I had many valuables left in the car none of which were taken they broke the steering shaft in the column trying to break of the steering lock, which resulted in them running away, they left the screw driver they used to jam the door lock in the car tho, wot some muppits. The police took a perfect finger print of the inside of my steering cowle and the screw driver for further forensics.. They were clearly looking to take the car only. Please if there is a chance any of you saw any thing or may have a ny info please please contact me... In the mean time keep an eye out this is a horrible feeling and im totally gutted with a large bill to pay or insurance excess

Sorry to hear that mate, I didn't see anything. I've been going for years and never had any problems. I guess it's a sign of the times, 1000's of genuine enthusiasts and a couple of scumbags.
