A very nice looking blue bugeye (he thinks!) on The Causeway, Bassingbourn, looking like you were looking for an address?

Yes, defo Sunday, as we were both at work on Saturday.
Why were you in the area on Saturday?
Have seen a really nice scoob a few times recently - the last time was heading through Bassingbourn High Street when it was snowing heavily.

Veeeeeery nice (his I mean!!) Only joking - any Scooby is great in my eyes!
This was definately on the Causeway (just off the A1198).
Are you fairly local then? If so do you go to any meets etc?

live in Bourn, Scooby Blue, you?
no, no meets, but one question though, where locally do you get your car serviced, I was thinking of Quenby's in Baldock
funny thing he drove mine to the cash point in Arrington and said it felt much more "direct" than his. (he has had his since new)

We live in Bassingbourn.
We are just looking at having her serviced for the first time since we've had her - funny thing is we drove past Quenbys on Sat night to see what he had for sale (just looking as you do!!) but there wasn't a Scooby in sight, or a Subaru sign.......not sure if they've changed sides?
I did ask him for a quote before winter & they wanted silly money compared to what I've (or rather my hubby) has found else where.
We are looking to get her mapped at the same time & one of the places that has come out favourably is Mocom at North Weald.
There is also Welch's in Stapleford if you are looking for a dealer.
Oh, and cashpoint in Arrington? That's a new one on me!!

yes in the petrol station, to be charge free it needs to be an Allience & Leicester, otherwise they charge
mmm problem is do these "specialist" give courtesy cars as I need mine for work everyday
I was in Quenby's the other day to buy some oil filters, although they are not an official dealer they are still an official parts/service centre if that makes sense (or so the bloke told me).
i,m not realy bothered whether dealer or not tbh,
re mocom yes heard of them, but they did get some bad press in some recent threads, (but also have some cracking feedback aswell)

Oh yes - I do know where you mean now.
Understand what you mean about courtesy cars - mine SCooby's a 'third' car and is only used for fun - she is currently in hibernation, but will be emerging any day now.
Will get hubby to look into Mocom a bit more then, as they will have to treat her right!! Do you remember what the threads were about - PM me if its easier!!

If you want a main dealer, try Welch's in Cambridge
Welch Group Garages
If you want a specialist, it's worth the drive up to Wellingborough and go to Zen Performance
ZEN Performance - Performance upgrade solutions for Japanese cars - Subaru & Mitsubishi Specialists

thanks guys
Blue -- in the spring/summer try and drive the Caterham7 everyday to work in Letchworth, allong the 1198 you cant miss it its blue and yellow, its not that fast really, just a bit of fun and quite loud!!!
thank guys -- I did actaully have a chat with Quenby's on my way home tonight (I had to buy some oil filters)
I need my cambelt changed I think, they quoted 400 squid -- with an extra £130 if it needs the tensioner aswell (oh and £15 a day for a courtesy car)
tbh -- i think i'm looking at a £700/800 bill, makes you wonder whether its just worth running it with the basic oil and brake service, if I get another 12/14 months it will owe me nothing anyway
I,ll give Zen and Mocom a call -- but the convenience of Baldock is quite compeling
