Out house hunting today spotted Blue WRX (MY01) with Gold wheels plus red WRX (old shape) both northbound A350 nr Chippenham. Also DBM old shape turbo in it's drive in Heddington

Also saw a P1 in Rowde a couple of days ago too. If we (by "we" I mean my wife) weren't house hunting I'd be in one of those too

I'm at Lyneham at the moment; there's a UK300 here (along with 3 red scoobs (incl mine), 1 DBM and 3 Green). Looking to buy around Colerne area probably but keeping our options open.

MY01 with the full Scoobysport treatment: Simpsons Subaru, last Friday (I think). Funny that: fancy seeing a Subaru at a Subaru garage.....

I'm in swindon too, Y reg P1. Often see a lovely old shape with a huge fin and monster zorst at J16 of the M4. lovely.
Couple of bug eyes but they never wave so sod them.

 

Yep I've seen a P1. Always wave but he never waves back, so I don't bother now. (Usually in the Greenmeadow\Woodhall Park area)

Red Mica MY01 Wagon

 

I live in Calne and work in Swindon. silver MY01, raised spoiler, scoobysport, tints etc.

 

Yup, the BD scoob was about 2 weeks ago; spotted a silver 5 door 99/00 there today though.

The MY00 (DBM) with the STi5 spoiler and HKS exhaust nr Swindon was probably Mark Bryan's (markab on here). Very nice car, 18's, Link, defis etc; gave me a ride just before he sold it (I think it's gone now anyway). "Whoosh" will be the word I shall use to describe that particular experience

There's also a white 5 dr old shape that I often see at about 7.45 - 8am every morning just near Avebury going North.

PS. if you spot a p*ss*d off looking bloke in a 2.0 GLX 5 dr red mica MY01 on the A345 of a morning, that's me. My car's in getting the front end resprayed (stone chips + warranty = hooray!) at the moment.
The GLX is just horribly gutless

 

DT - was that you nr Avebury at about 0755 this morning?

Simon, if the MY01 (Morettes, large spoiler etc..) you saw at Simpsons was WRBlue that was mine it was in on the friday having more bits fitted .

Live in Swindon, work in Newbury (I've got a Uk PD STi). Often see a blue MY00 turbo and new WRX on the way through Aldbourne, and often see a UK300 on the B4000 (if I go the other way to work) but they never wave .

I occasionally work in the Dorcan area of Swindon (most likely found in the Plough at Wanborough ) I have a UK300 thats usually filthy. I do acknowledge other Scoobs too!

 

PCB - yup, that was the one! Very nice Out of interest, you don't work just over the road from the Simpsons service place do you? I only ask as there was an exact same MY01 parked over there the other day

Silver 5 dr sport 99/00 parked in a drive in Winterbourne Bassett.
A white 97/98 (I think) 4 dr Turbo coming out of ******* (?) in Wootton Bassett yesterday evening.

Is it me or are there more P1's in the West Country than anywhere else on the planet?? I've seen around half a dozen of the so-called 'rare' beasts in and around the area!!
