There aren't any shops actually on the Ridgeway, Newport, but there are a couple of shops opposite the Ridgeway pub, Newport...

Nope - went to St Mary's primary next door to Queens tho' and then St Joe's High (I'm theoretically Catholic...) in Tredegar Park.
Used to mess about in Queens, the Civic, the Tech and the "Tumps" on the weekends with my friends fairly regularly, but this was way back in the late 60's

Me and my mates set fire to the 'Tumps' (accidentally I will add), that was in the 80's though.
