P1 at BMW HQ today?

My neigbour works for another well known German car company.
I was suprised to see him in a new M3 the other day. When I asked him what he was doing in the M3, he mentioned that it was as a temporary swap for one of their fast motors.
Apparently the manufacturers lend each other cars, for evaluation. He called it "Commercial Reality". I was impressed with such a grown up attitude.
Could it be a loaner from Subaru?
Regards
Kurt

From talking to people at MG they had a P1 for ages whilst they were developing the range that they recently released - mainly due to the Peter Stevens connection. Their aim was to get a car that handled and drove like the P1 - from my experience of testing their newest motors I can say they were good but not right.
Every car designer should be given a P1 and told to produce cars like that
