Tyre wear isn't as bad as some people might think. I get 3-4 track days out of a full set (run KU15 on 215/45/17 for info), a bit less if I push too hard on concrete (ie have fun), a bit more if I concentrate and drive properly on a smooth track.
The beauty of AST's I suppose with all that negative camber etc.
3rd track day on that set, after going out twice to Cadwell, got back and need replacing... I guess I was pushing it
