Some scoobs driving around in support of Richard Hammond near the LGI on the news last night, was it anyone here?

 

yes I saw that as well. It was following a Moneo BTCC style..

I saw that and thought it was clearly a case of attention seeking. As they are not going to get to see Hammond so what is the point?

 

maybe it is intention seeking and if it is the adverse effect is that it shows the general mong public that Hamster is regarded highly amongst motoring circles and petrol heads alike.

When I saw the clip this am I thought to myself how great it is that there are plenty of people out there, that despite the speed cameras, draconian road traffic laws and petrol tax, still enjoy the thrill of driving fast cars fast rather than setltling down to some minibus sold as lifestyle vehicle and a cup of ovaltine
