Recently sold my Scooby to buy a new one, but the new owner has given me a false address and i have just recived 2 tickets off the police 1 for speending an the other for running a red light, the Reg of the car is P123 **A it's dark met geen with 2001 rear spoiler and 17" gold speedlines i know it's in the Hardwick / \Milesplatting area of manchester so if anybody know the address of the new owner or has seen it parked out side a house on a regular basis could you please mail me the address all infromation will be treated with the strickest confindence.

 

I'll keep a eye for it for you. I often work around those areas in the week, if I see it i'll jot down it's position.

 

Had that over to the police, a crime has been committed.

 

Report to DVLA and Police.

 

The guys above are correct. Take the matter to the local fuzz.

Also, if you go to your local DVLA office, they can take you off their computer records as being the registered owner.

Finally, I don't know how the guy paid for the car, but if it was by cheque then you can forward the information via his bank who will charge him for the pleasure!

I agree with the others above - get in touch with the police ASAP. I was on the receiving end of some road rage last year and the driver of the other car had not registered the car in their name. The police were able to track them down though within a few weeks though Wish I could have seen the look on their face when the traffic unit turned up on the doorstep

I have reported to both the police and the DVLA but with at least 6 points that i know of so far hanging over me it would be nice to see the bloke stiched up good an propper.

I had a similar problem a few months back.Part exed my wrx for a evo4 in a private sale.the guy told me he was going to sell the wrx quickly so he didnt want his name on log book.He sold the car to someone in manchester who didnt register it either!!few weeks later i get 2 speeding tikets from the manchester area!!
i photocopied the bill of sale which proved that i had traded the car to the first owner and sent it back to the police.Not heard anything so i hope the coppers got the ba*tard.
