lol....i actually have looked at the front end to see if its possible to upgrade a bugeye, and it does look possible....but i`ll not touch this one...too nice...
but unlike the newage, i think you`d need the front panel aswell to upgrade to the 2006 shape...
Anyway mate, i`m the parts manager in the bodyshop not the panel beater..
I was the one that ordered the bits for your car...took a couple of days longer than it should have, the dealer who supplied the door didnt check it and when it got to me it was really dented, so i sent it back to get another.
think it came monday, and it was perfect condition like it should have been the first time...lol
my mate has been the one who actually did the repair on it (he`s the best in the shop), and i`ve been watching him telling him to make sure its spot on...
well, i know it was painted today and is ready for all fitting back together tomorrow, then buffing, polishing and cleaning.... i couldnt say when it will be ready, but i`m sure you will have been given a rough idea which i dont know about...
i was gutted when i saw the mileage on the clock though, i think i would have chased the passat driver round his car and caved his head in...lol
anyway mate, hope you can make one of the meets we have at carbrook pub opposite meadowhall retail park, the first monday evening in every month..

Where the metal work is joined, all the joints are sealed properly...The lad who did it, even came to tell me that he let sealer dry, then crawled underneath and shined a torch a long the joints to see if any light shone through were water could squeeze through, and re did any bits that needed it....he was proper happy for how much effort he`d put it...lol
Then after the painting the joined areas are all wax oiled, to finish the sealing process off...
Sweet as mate....

Hi, just read one of the threads from above about a meet in the carbrook carpark on the first monday of every month.
will this be happening this monday with it being bank holiday?
what time do people start arriving?
anyone going who would like to look out for me there? it would be good to meet some fellow scooby owners from around here. I have probably waved at most of you!
thanks!
Kathryn
