Loads there today including 2 Wr1's and scoobywagongl (I think).

What did everyone reckon - not a bad day out but thought it was poor having the quad racing on the same day covering all those cars with dust and drowning out the PA.

Some nice "cruise" cars there though !!!!

first person to spot me & had the car almost 2 years

Yes mate I was there with the lil man ... I thought it was a great day out even if a tad cold. Agree the quads being on was a bit of a shame but definately a great day!

I was there too on the midland scoobies stand, white classic with (555 stickers.

It was a bugger having the quads there too but nemind, still thoroughly enjoyed it. And at least that S1 Quattro did a good job of drowning them all out!!

Tams where did you bugger off to?

A good turn out it has to be said and some fine scoobs - even if they were all red by the afternoon thanks to the foo*ing quad bikes - why the hell didn't they park us over the far side of the track in the gravel car park over there?? Organisation - don't you just love it

think the problem with the quads was the fact that the dust was covering all the cars/people! a lot of people spent hours cleaning their cars for this event some possibly for the show and shine only to have them covered with bright red dust

Not the quads fault, probably down to a lack of forsight from the organisers for having both events on the same day

Yep thats about the long and short of it, the organisers for the club stand area we and others were booked in had no idea about the quads.
Did ruin an entire days work car cleaning for everyone as we all went home with red cars.
The show and shine competitors must have been double fed up being right next to the quad track

i went down to have alook at some scoobs before the quads had started and the first thing i said to the missus was "they arn't gonna stay like that for long"

maybe they just hadn't thought about it or just thought there wouldn't be any dust due to the recent weather, most if not all of the other quad racing this week end was canceled due to water logged tracks

turns out the quaders shouldn't have been there. aparently they come on to the site more or less every weekend and the officials look the other way (havn't been given permission officially, but no one says anything), and the brc organisers didn't know about em, talk about plans going **** up lol. the reason the club parking was so small was because where all the quads teams were set up, club stand parking shold have been.

ya talkin **** dude, do you thing the british champion along with his honda backed race team would just turn up for some illeagal riding?? more than a race to loose playing that game.

IT WAS A FULLY LEGAL, INSURED AND WELL ORGANISED QUAD RACE MEETING

personally unless i was 100% sure, i wouldn't accuse anybody of doing something illeagal in a public arena.

alloy - what class is ya bro in??

I noticed a very nice red quad transporter/motor home - impressive bit of kit.

I think it was just very poor organisation that the quads & BRC were there the same weekend.

dunno, fella, got that direct from one the organisers, so he must have been told wrong, can't say anything more than that, other than the organisers wern't expecting them to be there.

I'll pass it on, i organised the Scooby attendance and i heard the same as tidgy. Not from anyone at Mallory though i might add
Still everyones cars were clean for 5 minutes before they were covered in a layer of red dust
I thought the positioning of the show and shine directly adjacent to the quad track showed a great sense of humor

Still we all had a good day
