Followed one last night with a very apt number plate.

I just about kept up, but in my defense I was in the wife's Civic - so obviously I'd have whooped him in the Scoob

He bliped my favorite 1/4 mile straight in [cough] "no time" but judgeing by his braking points and the stopping in a strange carpark he deffinatley wasn't local - so maybe a journalist using the N Yorkshire Moors for "testing" ?

 

Was that the one with the plate SLR? Lives about 100 yards away from me.

 

Twas indeed - although I don't think the R was a real R, if you know what I mean.

 

Fairly sure it's Ray from Poundstretcher. I tried to keep up with him in the STi (2.5, 360/360) but no chance, it left me for dead, totally different league.

 

Saw this car with the plate 1 SLR driving through Birmingham driven by a women.

 

no '1' on the start, just SLR
