I was wondering if anyone on here is driving around in this car. I imported it new in 1999, but it was stolen last year. The thieves blew the engine and abandoned it (after stripping the radio and lots of interior trim), so it was written off by my insurance.

Last I heard it was in a salvage yard in Bedford area. It was a solid car, and I did think about buying it back and getting the engine rebuilt/replaced. I'd be interested to know if it is back on the road or if it was broken for parts.

 

Spotted the car myself at the weekend. Seems it has been put back on the road and bought by one of our local Wycombe taxi operators. I'm going to see if he wants the spare set of gold 16" alloys I still have in the loft!
