TVR owner
This bloke we were talking to had two previous impreza's and had
the TVR for a week and said it was hard to drive and not as fast
as his last Scooby STI8(333) on his favorite road, always knew
Scoobys were that good.
I also experimented with TVR owner ship but that ended after
pushing a Griffith 500 back too the garage after a test drive

Had a blast/drive of a TVR Sagaris a couple of weeks ago, and I`d swear it`s no quicker than my STi PPP down my favourite roads, if as quick at all.
I know that might sound like crap, but I`m just calling it as I see it.
I really think the Scoobs are that good.

I went from a 94WRX to a 99 4.2 Cerbra and now back to a scooby a 22B tho but i agree the scooby is a much easier car to throw around the TVR its one to bite back when you least exspect it, but in a stright line f*ck me it was fast on the clock i had 171mph out of 4th gear i never found out what 5 done lol

What I like is the sprint acceleration of the Scooby in moderate safety. Much more practical than 171mph in 4th !!!! I think TVR's are some of the best looking (and sounding) cars on the road, but heard of and seen too many broke down. What hit home for me was seeing one on the way back from Le Mans last year with its own support vehicle (van) !!!!! You just ouldn't consider a support vehicle for a Jap car.

It belongs to Prosport and has been remapped by Richard Bulmer - felt smooth & powerful - nice choice

The car was cold, so I didn't floor it enough to be subjective.
Power seemed to kick in nice & low as you mentioned, the only downside I could see was my bank balance
