Default Leamington Spa 5.50pm Mon 3/10/05

Junction of Heathcote Lane/Tachbrook Road.

Newage Car with a "*** WRX" plate in an odd colour (may have been crystal grey but looked more gold(ish!) then grey). Had an STI rear spoiler.

Only saw it from behind and couldnt catch up before the lights changed.

Anyone on here ??

Know Tachbrook Park Drive very well - but havent seen the car before.

Plate definately ended WRX and was turning up the Tachbrook Rd towards Bishops Tachbrook.

PS Allen Ford, Spirit or Arbury by any chance ??

205 GTI ??

Mini's are a great laugh - you dont need a scoob to have fun.

Personally, anything RWD with crap tyres in the wet entertains me for hours !! BTW I know minis are FWD.

Whats your bro got ?? (Guess he works at the same place from his post)

Yeh sorry mate a 1.6 gti. The mini is a beast to drive but its off the road as we speak due the norm mini prob rust!!! it failed its MOT due to the drivers side sill being a bit past its best and a couple of bald front tyres. Hopefully get her sorted over the winter.

My bro works in High Wycombe just by the M40 and has got an original wagon tuned up a bit. He moved down south to live with his girlfriend now wife when he was at uni.

Does sound like Tom. (My girlfriends dad, and Rich's Boss - Hi again Rich )

It is actually a Crystal Grey 05 STi UK, it's been tuned up to approx 360 BHP by Crossroads Subaru

It is a silvery bronze type colour, i will post a pic of it up later when Photobucket is working again.

It goes like a train !! I had the pleasure of taking it to Nurburgring & Spa in April.

Jon at Crossroads had been setting the car up for the track with uprated suspension AP 6 pots, and some decent tuning under the bonnet and Tom bought it when it was finished.. Before they had chance to track it themselves

I had to spend the weekend bedding in the brakes before driving to Nurburgring on the monday !!

To true mate, I gave it some out of a bend and the back stepped out. As you say not your and all. By the end of the day I had her driftin a treat. The last hour or so was tom driving with me in for the ride, the tyres dropped off and we had some major slidding going on. Didnt slow tom down though which was good.
