Yes It was Me, following you. I just thought....another Subaru Chap coming back from work, but hold on he's going side ways!!!!!! a proper Sooby chap.... I live just opposite the A41 and my exit from my garage looks at the the r about where the bus exit is, so its my usual 1AM test track most nights when the wife is fast asleep!!

I've got the complete S/S system with the up pipe with K&N induction!

You won't recognise it next week or you definitely will notice it, Full WRC decals with P1 wheels with a full Brembro kit!!!!!!

 

Whereabouts on the A41 do you mean? My little test track is on the A41 between M25 junctions 19 & 20



It's a great bit of road down there. You can fly down it without having to break any speed limits, there's two great roundabouts that you can take at speed (safely) and, if you're in a boy-racer/0-60 mood, there's two sets of traffic lights to tear away from.

Rush hour is no fun though

 

Amazing isnt it, been using the same bits of road for the past six years as a test track and @ j20 every day to and from work never see another scooby!

 

I see quite a few down there... but must say yours sounded absolutely awesome! I was coming down the A41 from the dome roundabout in a hire car and saw/heard you drive past... Sounded so mean!!!

I was coming up the A41 from Huntingdon Bridge, trying to race an Audi R8 4X4 V12 ESTATE!!!!! jobie with all the big pipes and big wheels and got totaly *** kicked! So I decided to let some steam off! But his retails for a little under £50K and mine is only worth under £8K, but his sounded GAY GAY GAY GAY!.......for £50K

There was an 03-04 Blue Scoob on the fly over so I decided to follow....it was his fault....He went down Hempstead Road eventually, but he was giving it every thing! if your out there Mr Blue Impreza...nice one!!!

 

The best place is the Fly over the A41 before the Dome roundabout that links to the A405 towards the M1 going past the Leisure complex. You've got to watch out as a police station is there and usualy you can't see a sqad car untill it pops up from their entrance which is usally to late and don't go past the A41 underpass towards the dome at over 40 on most weekends (especially sunny days) becasue as you come over the crest under the Fly over they've got already with a speed trap just next to the cemetery!.....I hope they got that Audi doing a ton!!!!!!! if not they should get him for owning a (very fast) GAY car!

 

That speed trap at the cemetery is never there when you need it.... the number of people that shoot past me looking smug as I slow down to 40......

 

Totally agree, you even get the idiots driving over the hashed road markings just to make a single car length, is it really f'ing worth it.
Also you have to watch for the police at the underpass part as they sit on top of the roundabout, in beteween the bushes [Ay, Dirty Boy], i got caught a few years back in my RS Turbo, they heard me go by, but by the time they'd caught me [at 5.30am], i was at Asda doing a lawful 40.
