Seen a blue WRX......possibly an Sti Type UK at the Chester-le-Street roundabout under the A1.....with a waving lady driver.

Saw another the same later on, but with a blokey driving it.....didn't look very tall, as the seat was quite upright and close to the wheel!!!

Also seen a red WRX in Washington B&Q car park.
