I drive a Black STi and can normally be seen on the A34 Newcastle road. Although there have been quite a few scoobs that I see around on that road.

Just noticed this thread after asking you the exact info in the other one!! (if that makes any sense!!)
I too can be found around the A34 Newcastle and the Blythe Bridge area and occasionally travel along High Lane to go and visit the parents.
I'll keep the eyes peeled but i know what you mean about blanks!! - some drivers look at me as if i'm mad when i wave at them!!
I've got a WR Blue Blobeye Sti with the WRX spoiler and silver wheels by the way!!

Oh -and, yes, I do fill up at Stone sometimes (this morning, for instance...)
I only ever use optimax and I fill up every two days........

No more mods planned at the moment, its pretty much how I want it.
Tyre wise I am running speedline GT1 wheels with 215x18x35 toyos.
Not had a lot done to it, bigger fuel pump, zorst, filter and TSL ecutek remap running about ~1.4bar (bit more when it colder weather).

hmm - same tyres as me - I thought you were running 225x18x35 GSD F1s at one time ?
Thinking of changing to them at the next swap....
Is that 1.4 held to the redline ? - I assume its still TMIC - but I guess its spray cooled ?
Mark
PS _ Hope someone else took the photo - or the gauges have a max display setting ...

lol no the defi have a peak setting display, car was stationary at teh time of the photo.
I have always run toyos on mine except the original re010 16s. The F1s are suppose to be good though, will 225 clear your rear arches though ?
Boost is held all the way to the redline, takes off at about 3000rpm, redline at 7,500. With the RA ratios doesnt get chance to build full boost in 1st, 2nd and 3rd though.

What are using to control the boost ? 2port solenoid with the ECU controller ?
I've an AVC-R, which allows in gear solenoid control to be phased, so keeping it closed longer in the lower gears ... (Currently 1.5 held to 6500, where it tails to 1.4 on my td05fe)...
I'm not sure they will clear the arches, but I prefer the tyre, so I might give it a go - I can always get them rolled (Skoosh style !)
Cheers,
Mark
