Just one point Martin where is the Dun cow not aware of the town/Village name you noted, where is it near to and what is the best way?? (I am just of junction 60 on the A1M) Sorry to ask such a simple question but would hate to get lost before I got there.

Nubs,

If you head upto the Chester le Street junction and take the 5th exit (I think) and head towards Shiney Row. After about a mile there is a right turn signposted Houghton le Spring. Take that road and the Dun Cow is about 1/2 mile on the right.

No doubt some of the locals will put me right on those directions.

There is a link to a map on www.tyneteesscoobies.com

Cheers
