I saw a WR1 at about 6pm on Friday 24th at the McDonald's roundabout on the Braintree bypass. Was that you Blobster or maybe the other one you've spotted?

I was coming from Coggeshall heading west bound on the A120 in a Bug Eye 02 reg WRX STi. Who ever it was I was impressed. Their window on the driver's door was open and they had their hand out waving ready as I came into view round the roundabout. They must have heard the familiar flat four rumble approaching

I'll keep my eyes open for WR1s in the Braintree area - it could be you.

 

Only one I see in Braintree is outside an office.

Hope the building work near it didn't leave dust everywhere.

Hi Hammoc, yep that was me you saw. I like to keep the window down to listen to the exhaust. (How sad is that?)

Mark, that's the other WR1 I was talking about. I did see you in the stealth wagon the other day as I was leaving Freeport towards MacD's but perhaps due to the discreet (and some might say gay) colour of mine, I don't think you saw me.

Nothin' sad in havin' your window down to listen to the exhaust. I often lower the window to hear the sound of other suitable quality exhaust notes. Ferrari 360s will always cause the window to be lowered - even if it is snowing!!!
