Jesus - I've just had a search on Google and I'm pleased to learn it wasn't the work of an individual! Mind you, what were Subaru thinking??
On the way back down the M4 from PE today (in a hire car, sadly), I saw a classic Impreza "Gravel Express". FFS, it's got the most hideous bullbar on the front that I have ever seen, and a spare wheel carrier just like all the SUVs you see nowadays. Oh, and about two feet of ground clearence. Nice. Laugh? I nearly choked on my Ginsters slice.
