Goodwood Festival of Speed yesterday (Friday)
Loads of scoobs in car park and en route. Me in black 03 WRX.
Most entertaining car taking part in the event was also a scoob!
All other cars just going up the hill in the usual way but N1 WRC driven, I think, by Alistair McRae (he was certainly standing next to it signing autographs beforehand), slowed twice applied handbrake and did doughnut before zooming off to much applause. V. tidy, incredible control! Could have done better myself obviously.... not!
Anyone else there?

I was there mate,, blue my00 UK classic, managed to lose it in the car park, must've walked at least 200 yds past it, and ended up scouring the field for it!!
And I did see the scoob sat in the paddock, but missed the action, damn!!

Yep - I was there too - black MY01 WRX - might have some pics - not sure yet. Camera was playing up and at the moment it is saying the card is empty 200+ shots down the drain unless I can recover them tonight.

Don't know if this helps but I recently had a similar prob with my digital camera - Smart Media card was not being read properly. Used a hard disk file recovery program that saw it like a regular disk and was able to recover all the files.
Try http://www.data-recovery-software.ne...Download.shtml. Demo version might allow you to see if it will work (files 64KB or smaller).

Had a fantastic day yesterday. I was there in the DBM MY00. Didn't see many scoobs in the S car park, but a 1-up red classic screamed past on the road to Chichester a few mins after leaving.

Thanks Trashman - I will give it a go. Really wanted to retrieve the pics of the Murcielago going head on into the hay bales

We had a great time, went all three days
My favourites are the Paris Dakar trucks, must be a right old handfull in the desert.
Colin was driving N1 WRC on Saturday and Sunday and gave his old steed some stick

Pictures here. I managed to recover about 80% of my pics - lost some good ones, but I think there are a few decent ones still surviving. Incidently Colin was driving the Impreza on Sunday.

Another fantastic festival of speed. There were so many highlights but Jean Ragnotti's high speed 360 in the Renault 5 maxi Turbo had to be the best piece of driving skill. What a pity that the drivers have been told not to "play" in the top paddock. My top 3 drivers for this years festival are...
1. Jean Ragnotti (for that 360)
2. Olivier Panis (The best F1 wheelspinning action)
3. Juha Kankkunen (who needs tarmack when the grass will do)
Also the car park organisation was excellent. Just drove straight in and out on all three days with no queues at all. I wonder why they can't do that at Silverstone???

Took me an hour to get out of car park on Friday due to lack of organisation I'm afraid. Marshals just standing there rather than controlling the traffic!
Perhaps they improved over the weekend!

I was there Sat (WR Blue Blobeye in car park M). Saw quite a few scoobs there including a WR1 at the bottom of the field in car park M. Lovely car.

Jean Ragnotti was fantastic - thought at first he'd lost it. The rear wheel came up and it looked as if it might turn over. Great skill to control it and a pefect 360

Yep, me too. Shame about Saturday's weather. Great drive down from Leeds (and back) - camped (not Will Young style) locally. Fantastic Merc Streamliner - ex Stirling Moss, loved the guy waving once he'd stuffed the Murcielago into the hay!
Roll on next year.
